7 Series - E65 / E66 (2002 - 2008)
Discussion of BMW's 4th generation E65/E66 7 Series flagship. The E65 generated much controversy, due to its radical styling and iDrive user difficulties. Nonetheless, the E65 broke records to become the best-selling 7-series iteration ever, especially after its 2005 facelift.

magnaflow failed after 2500miles

sending a pm to heinrich now to see if this new material is better.

i also contacted the uk rep for contitech and they will not sell unless it is 200sqm or more. he also confirmed that bosch are a customer, so it is the correct material. ive begged him for a sample sheet, for exchange of some good whiskey but no reply as yet.
heinrich we could really do with kits please sir..

so. with the summit racing diaphragms having failed, i decided to take the pumps apart and have a look for myself...
the head technician at the bmw dealer near me, had decided to leave the old diaphragms in place and put the summit ones ontop....seriously? wtf? im an engineer and i wouldnt expect this shoddy work from apprentices!

Welcome back, I didn't know anyone was looking for this particular O-ring. Have you seen this site. Plus here's a link that may help.

http://www.allsealsinc.com

http://www.allsealsinc.com/ParcoO-RingSizeChart.pdf

By the way, why isn't your M6 listed in your profile?

thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

I've just been swamped with a new dept. at my work, since I bought the M6. Any queries went to the M5 forum, not here, so I neglected to update this profile.

MWS, I asked him the same question over here.

https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...5#post12132985

He said it was Contitech material in post #124 and 125 in this thread. Just in case he is late in responding.

Rick.

Hello guys,

sorry for a late answer, sign of life or what ever. So, I'm back

Last week I've got some material from ContiTech, so now I'm able to sell some kits for our N73 HPFP. ContiTech was not able to deliver the material.

If you would like to have one, just PM.

FAILURE with Conti -- But 22,587 miles!

All.

I started having sporadic "Engine Malfunction"....

Had a nasty Radiator Blowout.... the Tech's added.... $3,000 for a HPFP...

1/2 a day later... got it back, new radiator, and checked Bank 2 HPFP did indeed have a worn Gasket!

Replaced... and off and running in 20 minutes.

There is "some" satisfaction in this!

Just my update.

Is there anyone in the USA selling the Contitech diaphragms? As it seems, HeinrichG and tsjalling are the only sources for this stuff, and they are both in Europe...
