Window tint Advice

Hello everyone,

I just picked up my brand new 2008 328i, black on black little over a month ago.

I am planning on getting the windows tint tomorrow, but I am confuse on a tint color that will look good my black car, excluding black tint.

Let me hear you guys suggestion.

I'm tinting my 328i (blk on blk) coupe next week. IMO any color other than black would be sacraledge.

Don't forget to check your state laws:

Unless you want a different look on the front versus the rear side windows, you'll have to do 28% on all (for FL), and with factory tinting that means adding about a 35% film.
Some seem to feel they can go darker, but it depends on how tight the local enforcement is. Where I'm at, I know several over-tinted cars had to go to quite a few annual-inspection shops until they found one crooked enough to pass them.

Since you are in Orlando I will recommend you get Formula One Pinnacle 35 it is a ceramic tint http://www.formulaone.com/

The only installer in town is Flying Window Tinters on 17-92 in Longwood and they did a great job on my car.

The tint is a nice flat charcoal black. Way better then the 15% llumar on my truck
