1 Get rid of RFT and
2 Bring back the oil dip stick. The D still has it and it is a bigger deal that I thought.
No "Fest thread is complete with out these two items being thrown out there. N4S
Totally agree with above recommendations................................... .

Out of curiosity, why are so many people interested in side view mirror mounted signals? BMW has had side marker signal lights for decades in Europe and since the E46 in the US that perform the function of indicating your intentions to the car in the lane next to you.

Is it a visibility thing (i.e. the dash mounted signal indication isn't visible enough to remind you to cancel)? Or is it an "ohhh that's neat"/"gotta keep up with the Joneses" thing?

My guess is that it's a lot easier for other drivers (oncoming and adjacent) to see your marker at mirror level. If I'm in your blind spot I am more likely to be able to see your mirror that just behind your wheel well.

1. Put the lumbar support in the sport package and m-sport package - since you choose your seats in those packages.
2. +10000 - bring back the dipstick
3. Make an override for the autodim rearview mirror.

2. 50 gb or greater hard drive standard on all 3 Series
3. Create an E30 retro car like new Mustang, Camaro, and Charger with all the modern technology!!!!

Frankly, if the F30 comes out without Bluetooth standard (at least in the U.S. market), BMW should receive an "F" on their report card and be subjected to beatings with a wet noodle.

It is now against the law in many states (with others following) to drive and use a hand-held cellphone. Hands free (i.e. Bluetooth) is required. Since cell phone use is now practically ubiquitous, BMW should just include it in all their cars as a safety feature. Many lesser cars already do this. Do it, BMW, it is not expensive.
