x1 28 oil change questions

Decided to do early oil change. Small little hatch to access drain plug. Drain plug is plastic. Need Allen wrench to remove. Oil filter comes with new Plastic plug and two O rings. We used strap wench to remove oil filter cover. Everything was pretty easy but need to find cap type tool to remove oil filter cover. Also, i would prefer a metal drain plug with magnet. Anybody know if cap tool and metal drain plug is available? Also, would like hood insulation. Is there a part number for that? zooz3

I've seen the oil filter cover tools at O'Reilly's and Autozone. Definitely can buy from Tischer or any other online BMW parts retailer.

Look at realoem.com to see if the pad is listed.

I do not recommend switching to a metal drain bolt, the drain pan is plastic as well and the metal bolt may not work out...
