N55 low oil pressure warning came and went

I got a low oil pressure warning just before i pulled into my driveway today. I shut off the engine, googled a bit, and turned it back on to check the oil level electronically. The code/warning was gone immediately.

I have read that a broken timing tensioner can get plastic bits in the oil uptake which starves the motor of oil but then turning off the motor lets the debris fall off the screen and then oil pressure is fine, which is consistent with my symptoms. There is also a rpm-related tick the motor has. Not sure if that could be supporting evidence for timing tensioner issue.

I had an oil change maybe 1000 miles ago. I wondered if i changed the oil again, if i could find the debris in the waste oil. I guess i am not sure how to proceed.

I can tow to the dealership although i have voided my warranty with an aftermarket chargepipe and JB4 so it is not my favorite choice. I may be able to inspect the timing chain although i do not have a garage so am a little limited in my mechanic abilities.
