Newbie with a few questions

Hi guys

My wife bought a 2016 330e a few weeks ago. So far she seems very happy with it although the battery range has decreased since we bought it as it is just coming in to winter here. This is apparently normal although a little disappointing.

She would like to change the puddle lights for some that shine a logo on the ground because she had some on her Audi S4 wagon. I have seen some on Aliexpress but am struggling to find some for an F30. This ad claims that they fit but they look the same as the ones in other ads that don't mention the F30 so do you know if they would fit?

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1X-C...008244911.html

The car has what I believe are non standard 17" wheels on (see pic) so I was wondering what model they came from or if they are accessories/after market.

Lastly, this may sound like a dumb question but which battery powers things like the lights and the other accessories when the car is in electric mode. It looks like the car has the main e battery, a normal 12v battery and a second 12v auxiliary battery. My wife only travels 1km to work so rarely has the engine running so the only way for any of the batteries to get charged is through the car being plugged in.

My wife purchased two sets of the logo lights from Amazon, they seem to work fine. Used a bit of black tape to secure the wiring adapter.

You might try using using this site to id the wheels.

Thanks so much for the links! The second site had a picture of the wheels and it looks like they are meant for the F30. They are described as "Luxury Line".

Would it be possible for you to post a link for the logo lights your wife bought please?

BMW wheels will have a "style number." Those look like Style 414s.

Thanks for that. I did see that number on the first site but just assumed that was how they had catalogued them.

Just to complete the thread I ended up buying these puddle lights and they arrived today:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32991216100.html

They take seconds to fit and are a direct replacement for the factory originals. Judging by the squeal from my wife when she opened the car door and saw them for the first time she is happy with them

Pics attached.
