F22 / F23 2 Series (2014 - Current)
The 2 Series coupe is the replacement for the E82/E88 1 series coupe. Production starts in November 2013 on the 228i (N20) and M235i (N55) coupes. Look for them in dealerships in February 2014. The convertible F23 2 series will follow in the fall of 2014.

Yes I think a bit crazy. I if done properly, I don't think it would make a difference. I guess you could get it wrapped, but even that's expensive. Money to burn??? If you really want Sakhir Orange, you should be looking at a 4 Series or M4.

Start with black so the engine compartment is black. But you will have sunset orange on the 18s.

This approach may make more sense for several reasons....

I think you're a bit crazy to repaint a brand new car. It's a lot of work to repaint it properly.

If it were I, I'd get the car in a color I liked then get it wrapped. That way, if later I don't like the wrap color, I can remove it to have a different color car that I enjoyed.

Going to order 18 Saturday will stay with white and do the wrap if I'm still excited about the shakir red.I had originally ordered the rocker m performance decal now I wonder if I should get the blades instead,do holes have to be drilled for the plastic blades ?would it cheapen the look of the car ,the limited edition has them figure I can't be wrong. Thanks for your resonable answer concerning the crazy notion of painting.Btw anything you would add to the build while you had the second chance?
