Code reader

What do you recommend for a code reader...I'm sure there are many available - just looking for a good one.

I use the Foxwell NT530 with BMW software loaded. It covers all Z3's, especially the early ones which can be hard to read.

Does that unit come with the round port? I looked at Amazon and it only seems to have the trapezoidal OBD2 connector

I bought one of those in 2012. Expensive back then, and sort of obsolete today.

They display a code that you look up in a manual that comes with the tool.
I see Peake is out of business now.
