71% residual on 335is 27months for march?

Ok I have to be crazy somewhere in here, but doing the quick calculation of residual vs MSRP I get 71%. How could that be possible? Last month it was 64% for 24months. If this is true there are going to be some AMAZING deals available. I have to be doing something wrong here, please someone correct me.

39103/55075 = 71% Residual???

I think the residual is indeed higher, not sure about money factor however. I am sure the impending model changeover is a factor in an urge to move these cars. Looks like the 24 and 27 months residuals are the same.

Yeah. I'm looking at a car optioned to MSRP: 54150 that comes out to $442/mo for 27/mos $0down w/ 1495 option credit at $1k dealer profit. Not sure on the option credit yet, but it says it's out there still. Take away the credit it's $502.

Forgot to mention: I'm assuming 1k over ED Invoice here.

Is that a vert, or just every option? I'd have to run the numbers, but it seems pretty high too me by comparison to the ones I have.

I trust my numbers, it's the same equations I used the last time I leased and was able to match the dealer to the penny. I just didn't know if I could deduct a full 1495...

Looks like it's time for me to lock in this month for my ED!

What will be a reasonable monthly payment on a 2011 335is Coupe Lease? (No ED)

Or what would you consider a great deal lease on same car?

Zero @ signing

27 Months?

36 Months?

My same options no ED 12K/yr ~$570/month. I didn't run it but I think the 36/mo lease will actually net you higher payments for a longer time period, not really the sweet spot.

That's a 335is coupe w/ auto, heated seats, power sunshade, upgraded stereo. MSRP 54150 -> Inv 49035 -> assumed sell 50035 (MAX MSDs)
27/mo's, Base Rate MF, no markup on lease origination, 1495 option credit
5.6% local tax gives a payment of 573/mo

I'm sorry; What's Base Rate MF and no mark up on lease origination, means?

With the above #s and a hypothetical 80K car discounted to 71000 for ED, using a tax rate of 6% and drive off of 1st month, registration, etc (~1500), MF of 0.00090, OLP MFdiscount of 0.0003 and ED MF markup of 0.0003, and MSD of 0.00049 (net MF is 0.00041), and 925 aq fee (this is high I think):

With 70% residual/24 months, I get a payment of 758.95.

the assumptions may be off but keeping all things above constant except the resid and lease duration,

With 64% residual/36 months, I get a payment of 663.75

With 41% residual/48 months, I get a payment of 1031.63

So the sweet spot here does appear to be 36 months.

If the MFs stay the same, to keep payments the same between 24 and 36 months it looks like the 36 month residuals have to be have about a 10% spread. Less of a spread would have to have the MF lower on the 24 month lease for the 24 to be the sweet spot.
