Thinking of buying

Hi there found a x1 s28i with 30k miles.
Is there anything I should look out for before buying. Any known issues with the s28i? Thanks

I have an X1 Xdrive 28i with about 55,000 mls.. I bought it with around 30k and I have endured no issues at all! The Xdrive is even more prone to breaking down because of the drive train and mine has no record of any issues. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the car you have found. The X1 has won awards for reliability and great gas milage.. they are a dream to drive!

I have a 2013 sdrive with 31k miles and have never had a problem. Fun to drive and no complaints. Of course there is that 'little' issue with the airbag recall. Since the car you are thinking about is a 2014 and you live in a hot/humid area, you'd want to make sure that the car isn't affected by the recall.
Is it being sold privately?

I purchased a white Certified Pre-Owned 2015 x1 s28i with 8800 miles through USAA Car Buying Service, which I don't recommend. The vehicle was at a BMW dealership, which was very unhelpful. I have enjoyed the car, but it took a long time to adjust to the size after my 2000 328i. Also mine is a base model -- no camera, rear cargo shelf, manual seats, no navigation system, no extras at all. It reportedly was a BMW dealer car. Everything about the purchase was a nightmare, but the car is great.
