Mein Auto:
Tire size is discrepancy

The door jam states 225/50 R 18 XL, but the in dash manual states 245/50 R 18 XL. I know difference in the size, but what is preferred? I have 2015 328i xDrive FT.

Go look in the an F30 price guide or ordering guide. They list which tires and wheel came on the cars. It'd tend to trust the door decal.

Not sure what you are looking at on the manual. The door jamb is car-specific, the manual covers all models of the 328.

OE is Original Equipment aka 'BMW Original Parts' aka 'What you buy at the BMW dealer with a BMW label'

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer... EITHER the company that made the OE part or.... A part this is identical to the OE part, but is sold by the OEM under their own label

OEM is not what BMW sells

Tire size is iscrepancy

Was looking at the on board manual after I did a system update.

I am going to go with the door size.

Thank you

Go on TireRack.com, and plug in your car. They will give you the sizes that came on the car, and they're pretty accurate.
