Yesterday, I saw a 1st gen Miata with a wing larger than that and.......a Ferrari sticker on the front. Other than those 2 high performance mods it appeared stock. Unfortunately I couldn't get to my phone to get a picture.

Dr Phil needs to interview these people in an attempt to determine where it all went wrong.

Man... I usually live and let live.
However, this is painful: are those styrofoam fenders painted and taped on?!

What are we making fun of?
The cheese slicer on the car traveling your direction, or the Sport "Activity" Vehicle in the oncoming right lane?

I was chatting with a racing instructor guy recently.
He said removing the rear wing reduces down-force, which leads to increased speed.
Trade-off, I suppose.
For me, the difference between 130mph & 131 mph will not be noticeable.

Speaking of 130mph...
I understand my car is limited to 130; I've only been up to a displayed 120-ish.
Is that 130 limit the REAL speed, or the displayed, adjusted speed?

Yes, I know how to display the actual speed, I just didn't do that before going slightly faster than legal.

It is virtually impossible to upgrade a 328 to a sleeper without about $10K in mods, in which case he wouldn't have been able to lay down the cash for those impressive mods.

Isn't the notion of a sleep a car that looks like something your grandmother drives to the grocery store, but then it gets up a moves? This abomination screams "LOOK AT ME!" and probably has a one-note boomer in the trunk to match.

If your car came with 'H' rated tires, than 130 mph is the max. 'V, Y, W' have much higher speed ratings. Look them up, but the manufacturer sets the speed rating from the factory and supplies tires accordingly.
