1. Support your trunk in open state and do one side at a time (it is very heavy).
2. Remove retaining semi-ring on top - just push on its ends with flat screwdriver on the opening side. Just make sure you will catch it when it will pop out.
3. On the ball joint side of the strut - you have to use thin flat screwdriver and stick it under that metal flat spring clip and either pull it out or slide it to the side. Basically you have to move it enough so that it will not hold to the ball. Once you will try it you will understand what you need to do.
4. Remove your strut by sliding top portion to the side and wiggling bottom ball joint away from the ball.
5. Installation is in reverse.
