Z4 Stress reliever

Wow, what a crazy couple of weeks with Covid-19. Me and my company have been working from home for the last 3.5 weeks. It's like Groundhog dog. Wake up, in the home office, hours of webex meetings, finish.

My saving grace has been the recently purchased Z4 M. If it's not raining, I drop the top and tear around the twisty blacktop roads where I live. 30-40 minutes is rejuvenating and makes me much more pleasant to be around for my wife and son.

Agreed, getting out of the house helps keep me sane until this thing blows over, and the zed is the perfect escape vehicle.Unfortunately the stay at home order is in place here in sunny Fla, so no joy rides for me.Too bad, with the weather so fine and gas so cheap. But I can still take a top-down trip to the grocery or Home Depot, and take the long way.

You can get out to go to get groceries or get other essentials and I'll bet there are many different roads that you can take to get there. Just last Friday my wife and I had to take a 50 mile detour in our '03 Z4 to go to the store.

Yep, and even exercise is deemed essential. Drove 20 miles through country roads to play a round golf today.

All our courses are closed! Was hitting the ball really well also! There were many reasons I picked the 06-08 Z4, but one of the key ones was the fact it fit golf clubs!

I hear ya. I hope they don't close ours, it's one of the final frontiers of freedom. Besides, no one in their right mind would stand within 6 feet of me when I am swinging a club.

So you bought your moms car. Congratulations! Unfortunately, you will suffer from "stupid grin" every time you exit the car after spins on the backroads. Especially with the top down!
