Simple wheel/tire question...been hunting for a while

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, but after sifting through 5,000 tire posts I thought it easier just to ask straight out.

Can I put the wheels/tires from my 2013 E93 (245/45R/17) on my 2009 E90 xdrive sedan? I'm pretty certain they will fit just fine after doing some research, but would like confirmation from you friends. If they do, I'm going to get a new set of wheels/tires for the E93.

Thanks in advance.

Why don't you try it? I'm 99.9% sure it works. E90 wheels = E90 wheels. You have the cars, swap the wheels and try it.

I was told by dealer that indeed all E90 wheels will fit all E90's.

I say yes, they will fit. Put them on. The worst that can happen is that they rub a bit when you turn the front wheels full range or they will rub the inner fenders under full deflection on hard impact.

I'm sure neither will happen. I put the biggest wheel/tire combo from the 335i (19 inch diameter, staggered, 8.5 inch wide front 9.5 wide rear, style 230 M Sport wheels) on an E90 sedan (2006 325i) and had ZERO problems.

If either does happen? So what, take them back off. No harm no foul.
