E63 / E64 6 Series (2004 - 2010)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

Are different seats available for the 650?

My wife drives our 2006 650i as a daily driver, and finds the seats too firm, too hard for comfort. Does anyone know whether it's possible to install softer seats in a 650? Not just pads or sheepskin, but entirely new seats?

Donít think seats from another model will work without some sort of compromise. There were standard and sport seat for pre LCI cars. Later years may have had multi contour also known as comfort seats in Europe. Not sure if any are plusher than the other but having the multi contour in the X5 and they are comfy. Not soft, but comfy.

Thanks, Fredo. I spoke with the parts department at a dealer just to get some advice, and they said the connectors and coding could be an issue; they weren't sure. I think I'll start by seeing if an upholstery shop can substitute softer foam and leather...

I would suggest maybe using a soft cushion in the seat, since there is really not a better option. Changing the tires from runflat will make the car ride much softer. Having a bad back I can understand the ride issue, but we do get to ride with a smile on our faces while driving.
