E63 / E64 6 Series (2004 - 2010)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

Aux Help

Hello everyone. I recently purchased an 06 650i and have been trying to get the auxiliary input to work. I have done some research, purchased an inpa cable and downloaded and installed ncs expert. following guides online, i was able to successfully code the CCC, or so i thought. here is what is happening... if nothing is plugged into the input, i can select the aux input and go back to radio, no problem. If my phone is plugged in, as soon as i select the aux, the radio freezes and reboots.

During coding, i was able to add +NAUX to the vehicle order, changed AUX_CONFIG to mounted in CAPPL, and set CAUDI INPUT_SCALING_SUB2 to wert_02.

Thanks in advance!

I don't remember having to change the input_scaling when I did mine, since you've added +NAUX to the VO have you tried default coding the 4 modules associated with the CCC, some cars need this and some don't, just depends on their setup.

Oh nevermind. this was a total newb error on my part. I installed the pins on the wrong connector - idiot. to my defense, the connector i took the pins out of on the cable was white, so i installed the pins back into the white connector at the back of the radio, which is the driver's side one, and is of course wrong lol. Thanks for trying to help!

At least you found the problem relatively quickly and painlessly .
