X4 F26 (2015 - Current)
The X4 is a baby X6 and shares a platform with the F25 X3. The F26 X4 is the ultimate combination of sporty and sports utility.

researching new X40i

I'm looking to trade my 750i 2019 ( the car I always wanted) and get something smaller with more cargo space. This 7 series car drives great but I'm not happy with it anymore, I'm just wondering if I would be happy with the X40i ride. Can anyone tell me if the like their X4 ride ?

Hi I have a new X 4 M40i got it July15. Love the car its my 3rd BMW and the best by far . ( X5 4.4 V8 and X3 35i ) previously. Anyway your question, yes it does have a firm ride and the seats are firm to. I don't mind though as I like a good handling car. It does make a difference which mode you select Eco , or Normal are softer. Obviously Sport modes are just that.We have done a couple of long trips now (8 to 9 hour's) and not been tired or uncomfortable. I did have to get my seat base set at the very correct angle which is very adjustable to not feel sore , its good now though.

The 7er is more like a limousine ride, but still, you might just really like the ride of X4.

Very different, a bit more raw...
