7 Series - G11 / G12 (2016 - current)
The next generation G11/G12 BMW 7 Series flagship forum. Unveiled June 10th, with production starting in August the 6th generation 7 Series comes in a light weight package with extensive use of BMW i carbon fiber technology. The interior quality raises the bar with a touch screen and gesture controlled infotainment system. Exterior styling has been a sticking point with mixed reviews so far.

What is the audible sound for pedestrian warning? Is it supposed to be the same fast beep, beep, beep, beep, beep (I think it's about 5 really fast beeps)? Or is it another sound produced to differentiate between collision with people vs a vehicle etc?

Dear i don't receive any alert or sound for pedestrian, it even doesn't detect pedestrian. but for collision with vehicles it acts perfect, sound plus apply foot brake. also the night vision doesn't detect animal or pedestrian.

(Sorry for any confusion)...my question wasn't actually directed toward you. It was a general question to the G11/G12 forum because my BMW pre-dates the pedestrian collision features. I was just asking to educate myself as to if it sounds like the regular collision warning or if it has its own special sound as to distinguish pedestrians from vehicles or other non human objects.
