E63 / E64 6 Series (2004 - 2010)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

Horn won't work- possibly fuse?

Recently purchased 2005 BMW conv and horn won't work. Might it be as simple as fuse short? Wait time to see mechanic is several months. Suggestions?

If it is the fuse it's number 28 in the glove box, this fuse also doubles up for the steering column switch cluster and should be a 20 amp, you'll need to flip down the black plastic cover at the back to access the fuses.
If your car was built after Sept 05 then also check number 17, again in the glove box, this will be a 5 amp.

Under what circumstances are you finding that the horn doesn't work? I ask this because if you are new to BMW...you may not know that the horn doesn't work if the ignition isn't turned on...same with the headlights and a few other things.
