E63 / E64 6 Series (2004 - 2010)
The E63/E64 BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations.

I think the beauty & styling of the E63 & E64 broke the mold, & the styling never recovered in the models after this? Shifting the model to the 8 Series doesn't really make since, but I guess it is a marketing gimmick. The question is will our body style rise in value, or continue to plummet? The scary part is since nobody really makes replacement body parts for our cars, & this could become a problem?

Here is a link to our newer 6/8 Series body. It look like a stretched 6 Series to look like a 7 Series. I do not know why BMW is making all their cars look like small & large bodies that look the same?

Mercedes did the same thing. No variety at all.

Have to agree, the shape is part of why I've stayed with the E63.
