Author can't even spell. Three spelling errors in the first sentence. Looks like a real winner.

Thumbs down My mistake...

Ok, so I've been up a while (26hrs straight) and I type too fast for my fingers sometimes... That does NOT give licence to a-holes who have nothing better to do than criticize..

I thought some on here might find these pics interesting, and was trying to do my bit as a new member... I was under the impression that THIS was the forum where new Bimmer owners where welcomed... maybe my mistake..

And a VIRUS ?? WTF ? It's a photo-blog, a legitimate site and sites can only ask YOU to install a virus the cannot "download false virus software on my computer!!!" Moron...

WTF is a false Virus anyway ??? knob..

Get a life kids, and let the grown up's discuss CARS

Cool your jets fella! If i wasn't interested in your post, I wouldn't have clicked on the link. I have been around computers enough to know when a site (or blog) is F'ing with my CP. It started running a fake virus scan and advised me my computer was at risk. Seen it before. Not slamming you, just warning other members.

As for adults...I'd be willing to bet I have kids older (and more mature) than you. Your total lack of concern for what is or might have been a risk to the other members here says all we need to know about you.

I personally don't give a damn how, or if you can spell.

Malibu Mafia is one of our best contributors and he can't spell worth ****

Told me it contains malware that could damage my computer. So I navigated away from it. Thats a bummer too. I would have liked to have seen it.

You must be mistaken. The OP says it isn't possible.

Prepare yourself to be flamed, called a moron, knob, a-hole etc.

To the OP :asshole:

Take your act somewhere else.

Ok guys, maybe I was a little touchy...
I have opened this tab a dozen times, and seen no hint of the effect you mention... Mcafee site advisor online says no problem with the page, and I use Comodo Pro security, nothing picked up.

Perhaps your popup/'virus scanner' thing is locale orientated ? Im sure you realise that these "download our virus scanner / currently found 200 threats on your pc" etc is just a popup? and is NOT fake virus software. Sureley everyone knows not to click "yes" on such things ??? I have yet to see it, using firefox.

I would be mortified if a link I posted posed an actual threat to anyone else's PC.

As for me? Im a 36 year old Satelite engineer with a BSc in Computer science, 3 kids and I volunteer with 3 special needs organisations... THAT should tell you 'all you need to know about me'

Maybe we were both a little hasty... enjoy the pics ( if you guys can navigate through the security jungle that is 'the popup' lol )

Fair enough.

Yes, I know it is a pop-up and not to click on it but, I am not sure everyone kows that which is why I posted my warning.

My second post was a response to your name-calling and being told to get a life. I don't believe I acted hastily or innapropriately. I am sure you are more respectful and diplomatic when dealing with your sepcial needs groups

Having said that, I'm willing to hit the restart button.

Too bad about the pop ups on that site, I make it a practise to just navigate away from those. Not worth the hassle and risk IMHO.

dj, thanks for your reply,
But for the record mate,
I was contextualising my post, not begging forgiveness

MY response was due to the instant negativity that rained down, irrispective of the content of the post.... "If you dont have anything nice to say..." etc. It irritated me, and would again.

"Your total lack of concern for what is or might have been a risk to the other members here says all we need to know about you." was a little dramatic for a pop-up? and a little judgemental?

Regardless, I appreciate your dialogue..

Anyway.. the whole thing is boring me now, I will not be posting further on this thread.
