E-sys coding VO / FA help

Hi everyone,

I have 2 questions.

I installed heated steering wheel to my 2012 F25 with shift paddle. I coded heated steering wheel and it heats perfect but kombi (instrument cluster) does not show information like heating on / off. If some body can help me I will be happy Smile I coded kombi + JBBF + HU units and I checked by ISTA - D no faults on modules. I will also code shift paddles but I don't know which units must be coded after adding VO / FA. This is my first retrofit on BMW I was using Mercedes.

1. After heated steering wheel kombi unit does not show information message why? My kombi is 6WA half LCD type
2. How to decide coding units after VO / FA adding which ones must be coded? for example shift paddle retrofit coding modules?

Thanks

I have a 2011 with a heated steering wheel from the factory and there's no indication on the instrument cluster when I turn it on. It's kinda dumb since you really can't see the LED on the button when driving. I just turn it on, then after the vehicle warms up, I press the button and turn it off. It would be great to see an indication via kombi, but maybe the older F25s don't support it?

My F25 is a full spec car with half LCD 6WA type but no indication on kombi like yours. I think F25 cars kombi does not support information messages.
