X1 F48 (2016 - current)
Second generation F48 BMW X1 builds on the success of it's predecessor. Increases in power, interior and cargo space keep it a leader in the small SUV field.

How Standard factory works?

Good morning sirs.
I have an overheating problem with my BMW x1 2018. The temperature sensors complain about the engine temperature which is high. It has 8000 km and 1 and a years of use. The dealer in my city( that has its own authorized technical assistance) can't find the issue after 2 days, but they are still trying to figure out the problem. I hope they find it, but It is wise to learn how.thw warranty works.

Then, I wonder if the factory warranty varies from country to country. My country's law says all new cars have 3 years of warranty for malfunctioning parts. But I couldn't find some official statement in BMW pages, and I would like to ask you if the factory warranty is different? Any official resource I may read?

Thank you.

In the US a new owner receives a warranty booklet with all of the legal details. Try your national BMW franchiser.
Scepticism and Animal Faith (1923)
Scepticism is the chastity of the intellect, and it is shameful to surrender it too soon or to the first comer: there is nobility in preserving it coolly and proudly through long youth, until at last, in the ripeness of instinct and discretion, it can be safely exchanged for fidelity and happiness.
(The Works of George Santayana p. 65)

Eschew eristical argumentation. I am responsible for what I write, not for your understanding of it.
