X6 F16 (2015 - Current)
The all new 2015 BMW X6 is the second generation luxury cross over. BMW referes to the X6 as a Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) as it combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, xDrive and all-weather ability) with the stance, styling and roof line shape of a coupe. The F16 BMW X6 is build side by side with the F15 X5 at BMW's BMW's Spartanburg, SC plant. Read all about the second generation BMW X6 here!

Previous X5 Owners ... Questions on Move to X6 ...

So we have been looking hard at an X5 and are ready to get an order placed, but after driving a few of the cars available, I really did not like the body roll. Both had standard suspension, though I think one had Adaptive M, not sure. Either way, the roll was pretty evident and I found the 50i to be really jerky off the line with poor shifting.

So, now we are considering the X6, which I imagine handles better due to its lower center of gravity and slightly wider footprint.

The question to those who have made the move is: Are you happy with it? Would you have done something differently? I understand visibility is worse in the X6, and you lose quite a bit of cargo space -- but in the X5 you'd have to stack pretty high to take advantage of that space anyways.

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
