Car stuttering at cruising speeds

Hey guys, I have a 2015 328i wagon (automatic 8 speed transmission). It has 58k miles and has been very well taken care of. I am currently having an issue with the car stuttering while driving around 70 mph. Almost like your hitting small bumps that don't exist. It seems like it's getting ready to shift, or is slipping. The rpm's do not fluctuate and no indication of a problem from the onboard diagnostics. It is more of a mild stutter or hesitation at this point but has me concerned of major problems to come. Has anyone had any issues like this?

To OP, when this happens around 70mph, is the car accelerating and and 8AT ready to downshift?

Do try if sport mode + D/S mode helps.

How many miles on the car?

Thanks for the reply... The car is not accelerating or trying to down shift. It has 58k miles. It feels like it is jumping, almost like the shift shock you would feel during normal gear changes. It's very subtle but I can feel it. There is no change in rpm when it is occurring. I will try switching to sport mode on my way to work in the morning and see if that helps. I only drive it in comfort mode. Thanks

What happens when you floor it from a stop? Does it stutter on high rpms or do you only notice this while at highway speeds?

Could be a misfiring cylinder. Maybe a coil going. You may want to have it scanned for codes.
