Handling problems: Caused by Tires or Suspension?

My 2013 M6 Cab came with 295 rear Michelin Super Sports and 265 Pirelli in the front and the car is a true pain to drive. Handling is the worst of any BMW I have ever driven. No stability at all. No hook up. Not planted on the road. It is all over the place.

Is the core problem the mixture of Pirelli in the front and Michelin in the rear or do I have a blown shock?

I would hate to buy new Michelins and still have the same issue.

Can I run a 265 35 20 Michelin 4S front with a 305 30 20 Michelin Cup 2 without handling/ABS/TCS problems?

The 305 rear is 27.2" compared to 27.0 for the 295.

Another thing is that I get no TPMS data in i-Drive. Does that mean the batteries in the sensors are dead? No errors or warnings are showing.

Thank you.

Alignment. Alignment. Alignment YOU tell the mechanic the numbers that you will pay for, and pick those numbers for the effect that YOU want. The extremes of alignment allowances have extreme effects. Don't be a chump.

Scepticism is the chastity of the intellect, and it is shameful to surrender it too soon or to the first comer: there is nobility in preserving it coolly and proudly through long youth, until at last, in the ripeness of instinct and discretion, it can be safely exchanged for fidelity and happiness.

If you get no TPMS data in iDrive...and you have mis-matched tires...are you sure that the wheels actually have TPMS sensors installed? Or you could have the wrong sensors installed...or the batteries could be dead.

In regards to tire size...just do a simple google search for a "tire size calculator"...they are easy to find on the internet...and you can tell if the overall rolling circumference is within spec to prevent issues with DSC/ABS issues due to differences between tire rotation between the front/rear axles.

What type of Pirelli tires do you have mounted? Just giving the brand name doesn't tell us much (makes it vague) in comparing them to the Michelin Super Sports which are a summer performance tire. Is the Pirella ??? a summer tire, too? Or is it an all season? It could make a difference.

EDIT: was just reading a thread on another forum where an M6 owner had Pirelli PZero tires mounted and was having handling issues...they changed to Michelins and transformed the handling...here's a direct link: https://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1522826
