7 Series - E65 / E66 (2002 - 2008)
Discussion of BMW's 4th generation E65/E66 7 Series flagship. The E65 generated much controversy, due to its radical styling and iDrive user difficulties. Nonetheless, the E65 broke records to become the best-selling 7-series iteration ever, especially after its 2005 facelift.

TCU drainage and bypass

Hello.

My battery drained many times and finally I measured the current today.

It was 0.6A. No wonder.

It became 0.2A after pulling fuse 79 for Telephone control unit.

Both of above readings are under the battery OFF position.

I think it is still high compare to 0.06A of SPEC.

What I am losing and what else I need do other than bypass the MOST bus?

Thanks

I have posted BMW Advanced Vehicle Diagnosis many times here at BF. Find a copy and learn. Here's a copy not at BF

Thanks.

This car drained but not killing the battery.

I have 2 batteries no longer taking charge by another car.
