Selling 2004 E85 3.0i Manual

Hope this is allowed, I'm selling my beloved E85.

Exceptionally maintained 2004 BMW Z4. This is a garage queen and only driven on sunny days and date nights with the wife. During winter I keep her under a car cover and on a battery tender.

Pros:
- 3.0 motor with 6-speed manual transmission.
- Heated seats, driver seat has two memory settings.
- Power convertible top works flawlessly, no rips or tears. I've used soft top cleaner on it over the years and it looks new.
- Tan interior with leather seats. Driver's seat shows some wear.
- Auto climate control system. I find the passenger side blows cooler air than drivers side.
- Stereo sounds great. Bluetooth was installed after market, works ok.
- Engine is super clean. Synthetic Oil changes every year as prescribed. Last one done at Seattle BMW.
- Tires in great shape, lots of tread but are older (6yrs).
- Lower control arm bushings replaced about 10k mi ago.
- Steering column swapped with an M. These had a notorious problem of steering "stickiness"
- M steering wheel
- New Car battery installed 6 months ago
- Clean title in hand

Cons:
- I was tapped in the rear about 2 years ago, which dented the trunk lid. It was a $1600 repair handled through insurance and fully repaired.
- She's 16 years old and has some small scratches, couple tiny dings
- Gas cap retaining rubber string (so you don't lose it) broke. It doesn't affect the cap at all.
- Clutch pedal a little wobbly sideways. East side Bavarian looked at it and said it's not a safety issue.
- Airbag light just came on yesterday. Not sure why.
- Wheels show some markings from curbs when inspected close.

Selling as I just don't driver her enough. Sale comes with car cover. Serious buyers only, low ballers will be ignored. Welcome to come test drive in Maple Valley. Test drive will require proof of insurance.

Asking $11,000 or best offer.

I have the same car model year....

Check the single wire connection that goes from a block terminal in the battery well to the positive cable. This is the power connection to the SRS system. A loose or dirty connection will set the airbag warning light. The error condition is set because the car senses a low voltage condition in the SRS system.

Clean with electrical cleaner and reset the error. Unfortunately you need to go to dealer if you donít have the proper software.

As with any work on connectors on the cars wiring harness.... disconnect battery prior to disconnecting anything to avoid setting addition codes....(both cables)
