Looking for recommendation for all season RF tires. What is best for comfort and quietness?

www.TireRack.com is your friend. Personally I went for the Bridgestone Drive Guards, and I definitely like them more than the OEM tires.

+1 on the Drive Guards.
I just picked up mine from Costco, they are quieter and a little softer.
Performed well on drive and wet roads.

Tire recommendations...

I'm on my second set of Drive Guards, and am happy with them. Enough so, that I hesitate to try any others for fear of being disappointed and wasting money.

My only advice is to stay away from Goodyear's. I think the LS2's are out of production. But, whatever they're making now was designed by the same people who designed the LS2's. My specific complaint with the LS2's it that they wore as if they were under-inflated. Over-inflating evened out the wear across the tire, but then the ride was bone jarring.

I suspect the under-inflated wear pattern is common to all run-flats. I'm not going to buy another set to find out for sure, though.

I have Bridgestone DriveGuards (P225/45RF18) on 3/4 of the tires on the X1 I just got.. the odd-man out appears to be a newer replacement, a Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (225/45ZR18)
