^ looks pretty sweet. Are those the same offset as stock 172 wheels?

Anyone else have pics with spacers and style 172 wheels?

this isn't the best angle, but here's a pic of my retired 2008 E60 ZSP with stock 172s and 15mm spacers.

FWIW, I put 15mm spacers on my recently-new (to me) 2010 E60 with stock 172s, and I think it looks great. Sorry, no pics of this one.

15mm is not a dramatic change, but it makes the stock wheels fill up the wheel well much better than the factory configuration. Heck, I think you could go 20mm and it would look great, but I don't know what the physics are of hanging the wheels out that far.

It's definitely different looking than stock, without being loud or obnoxious.

I found a pic of my 2010 E60 from about the same angle as the 2008, before I put the 15mm spacers on it. Gives a half-decent before and after comparison. The first picture is the "before" on the 2010 E60, the second picture is the "after" on the 2008:

do you have alink?

this is to widden the oem style staggered 172's? correct?

bolt on spacers that make your rear end just a little more wide? (30mm overall)?

can some get a picture of the spacers on the hub? and or a square on picture from the rear?

It's a CNC-machined piece that fits right over the lip on the brake rotor, between the wheel and the rotor. The tolerances are really dialed in, too, so there's no slop in it. It comes with replacement studs that are a bit longer to make up for the extra space.

I bought mine from Turner Motorsport. Here's the link: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...bolt-kit-15mm/

Exactly. I think 15mm on each side in the back is perfect. It actually looks more "factory" than how it looks without them. Visually the rear wheels just sit too far inside the wheel well for my liking.

nice. thanks for the pics. thats what i was looking for.

weird, i was unable to find and definitive info on spacers for these wheels. i tried to do my own measurements but still wanted to hear from someone that has done it. i want a little poke with no rub. i will eventually be doing some coilovers, but thats prob not for a while as i only have 55k miles on my car. going to wait until the stock suspension gets worn.

thanks again for the pics, ill be pulling the trigger on some spacers soon

Oh yeah, perfectly. There's plenty of room back there still. There are absolutely no clearance problems at all. I've never rubbed the top of the fender on the tire when the shocks are fully compressed, which wouldn't be any different with or without the spacers anyway - if the tire would strike the bumper with the spacer, it would strike without it.

Honestly, the spacers are just completely plug-and-play. Remove the wheel, slide the spacer on, remount the wheel using the longer lug screws that come with the spacer, torque those bad boys to 88 and you're off to the races.

One last look

I took a few pictures of the back of my car when I got back to the airport last night. This is what it looks like with 15mm spacers from the rear.

My 167's are offset 28 in the rear. Less 15 brings them to 13.

I run et12 on my rear setup and still have few millimeters to work with. I'm actually running higher profile 19in tires like the F10. Looks much meatier and better than those low profile E60 tires, IMO.
