Oil cooler

If no oil cooler means you use part number ending in 807. Not only is gasket different, but bracket is different too. Look at Realoem for drawings and part numbers.

Elring valve cover gaskets

Mike Miller says always use OEM. Before I got his advice I installed Elring on my E36. This was only four months ago, but so far no issues. I was very careful about the installation.
