if you are draining coolant might be a good idea to change boost pipe o rings and thermostat if it's old

I did get a new thermostat with everything and it was one of the first things he did actually.

Probably too late for the o-rings. Are you talking about the first picture?

He did do the second picture gasket that was kind of hard and was leaking oil.

I wish I would have known it was a thing, he could have done it easy while doing the thermostat.

It's finally done. My mechanic said he doesn't want to do that ever again.

I pulled the DDE out. And I'm just realizing I forgot to disconnect the battery first.

How screwed am I?

Negative terminal is off now anyway. So it shouldn't be losing juice or something. What's the reason for disconnecting the battery anyway?
