OE is Original Equipment aka 'BMW Original Parts' aka 'What you buy at the BMW dealer with a BMW label'

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer... EITHER the company that made the OE part or.... A part this is identical to the OE part, but is sold by the OEM under their own label

OEM is not what BMW sells

Didn't see that till earlier today [been swamped]
Hard to believe nobody's come up with a good reliable kick ass remote start. I've used those aftermarket ones many moons ago on much lesser cars when car stereos were all the rage. I wouldn't trust them on mine now.

They did. Flashlogic is a phenomenal product.

Not OE or OEM, but deeply integrated and uses all OE controls/modules. No hacking up your dash like old-school 'car stereo shop installs'

My buddy has Flashlogic on his '13 E70 and loves it. He's trying to convince me to do it on my cars.

I recently got the idatastart /compustart Remote start and shop i used was a 30min install and setup online, kept my orig keyfob to start and installed the Drone App to start from my iphone.
So far its great. Shows battery level on app etc. and Gps location . $10 mo subscription for app or just use free version. Or use the fob. Att is the simcard but i heard newer versions have verizon/Att combo for better reception.
