how high is too high???

So I am going to be in the market for a new vehicle soon. I just got rid of my audi S3 (sigh) due to financial reasons and had a 2012 X5M and had a 2011 E90 comp pkg. My question is, how high is too high that one would consider getting into another E90 M3, for example? Many M3's that i have seen have had between 60-140,000 miles on them! I mean, I could get a 2008-2011 M3 for less money up front (maybe the key here) than a 2013-2018 335 or 340 or X3 for that matter! Just wondered if people in this forum are scared of some high milage. I know the e36 and e46 people are not, that's for sure. Thanks!

I have the same question as I am looking to purchase a 2008-2011 E90 with 130,000 kms or roughly 80,000 miles ...... are there any major repairs that one would expect at this threshold ?
