F10 M5 (2012 - 2016)
The 5th generation M5 has the V8 S63 TU engine with twin turbos under the hood producing 550hp. The engine and DCT gear box pusses the M5 0-60 in just 4.2 seconds.

How to have AC off every time you turn ON the car?

It's really getting frustrating every time I turn ON the car, I have to turn OFF the darn AC. Is there anyway I can have it stay in the previous state when I turn it the car ON?

I believe this is a memory function associated with the driver key fob used. I recall reading somewhere that when you are programming the memory seats and mirrors to a particular fob (1 or 2) the current climate control settings are saved as well, and revert to those settings when the car senses the fob it was programmed to.

Not 100% on this, but it's worth reprogramming your memory button with the ac off to see if that solves it.

BMW IHKA HVAC defaults to ON and AUTO. BMW recommends HVAC always on to dehumidify interior and ensure dry environment for the electronics.
