Is this anyone here?

I used to own a 2006 330i with 6 speed red on black no nav from 2007 to 2010. I sold it after finding a 6 speed 650 (which I still have) but I thought it was the best all around car Iíve ever had. Still think so.

Anyway, I keep seeing my old E90 around town in Healdsburg CA and itís driving me crazy. I first saw it a little over two years ago while I was out for a run. I ran by it from behind, noticed it was a red 330 so instinctively took a look inside ready to roll my eyes at the automatic it was sure to have. To my surprise it was a stick shift so I stopped and looked closer. Black leather, no nav, no heated seats, but sport seats. Check check check check. The wheels are no longer the beautiful 3 piece bmw accessory ones I sold it with and the front bumper carbon fiber extensions are missing. I took a picture of the VIN thinking it couldnít possibly be my car because I sold it to a guy who lived in Sacramento area.

I got home and checked the VIN against my records. Itís my old car! And I have seen it several times parked in town since and again today while I was out trying to get the current G30 washed. Apparently car washes are non essential businesses...

It looks a little beat up now but given I sold it with 80ish k miles ten years ago it probably has well over 200k miles now.

Anyway, I have all records for the car in excel from when I had it and it also has a rather interesting history prior to me purchasing it. I would love to have a closer look at it. Please PM me if itís anyone here.

I just noticed the last 3 digits on the current license plate are the same as the plates I had on it. What are the odds?

Well, HOA rules ban car washing so I go to a spray wash with my two buckets, soap, ten different other products, and a bunch of microfiber towels all in the trunk. I pay $3.50 for the initial rinse and bucket fill, then hand wash the car, then another $3.50 for another rinse, then dry it properly, then go home and do the interior.

OCD adapting to his environment. Except even now the spray down place is closed...

Learn the difference of obsession from compulsion. We are obsessed with clean cars, but some of us compelled to commercial car washes.

Depends on circumstance tho. Sometimes there isn't a choice. That said, definitely be avoiding the foam brush !
