Front strut and rear shocks

I just replaced the front struts and rear shocks on my 07 . Replaced with stag struts , noticed the ride height is much higher. Is this normal? Also I still hear a clicking noise on the front when going over bumps at slow speed what could this be? Any help would be appreciated

If the Stags are nitrogen charged, then they do tend to sit a bit higher initially. Generally most will settle a bit after some driving. WRT to the clicking, need to check to ensure the center nut that holds the strut rod to the strut bearing is fully seated and tight. They can be hard to get tightened and any gap between the mount and the shoulder on the strut rod, even just a few thousandths of an inch will cause a click or clunk.

Also make sure all 3 stress bar fasteners are good and tight, especially the one near the firewall. If not you will hear knocking/clicking over bumps.

Sure the clicking isn't a bad CV joint? Constant clicking, maybe more in turns, indicates bad CV joints.

Noise started coincident with install of the struts/shocks and is from the front.

Had the same problem with a different brand. Mine were adjustable (ride height). Problem was the locking rings. "Wrench tightening" was not good enough (came loose). Once they tightened with a wrench, I had to use a screw driver (or equivalent) and hammer to further set. No problem since then.
