? about price changes

When placing an order for a new BMW, what happens if the manufacturer changes the pricing of the vehicle between the time of the order and the actual delivery of the vehicle to the customer? It seems like BMWNA changes its published price list for the vehicles at least 2x per year (once when the new model year is introduced, plus a mid-year increase).

If I place an order for a new vehicle right now, the dealer and I are going to be working off 2003 price lists, but the actual vehicle that will be delivered several months from now will be a 2004. Given that price lists for 2004s (with a few exceptions) are not yet available, is the deal based off 2003 prices even though I will receive a 2004 vehicle? Or is there a back-end adjustment when the car arrives to account for any price increases that have occured since the order date?

You would work that out with the dealer ahead of time. All we can do right now is speculate what the 2004 pricing will be. A good way to negotiate a deal now is "x amount over invoice, or x amout off MSRP". that way there is no confusion when the pricing comes out.
