You need to read the codes. We could narrow it down to a few hundred things you should look for with the information we have now...

Unfortunately i don't have diagnostic tool that will read that codes. I was told that most likely turbos are the issue, the car has 161,000 and i have since turn 90,000. I can still drive but can't accelerate fast.

You will need to take it somewhere that can.
I don't understand the 161000 and 90000.

I'm guessing it's a 30FF code from failing wastegates.

That's right, your guessing. Until we get the codes, we don't know much of anything.

Could be as simple as a misfire. Or...

You will almost always get a turbo deactivation code when something goes wonky. Ours did the same thing a while back and I checked vacuum lines, pulled the plugs for a look, basic stuff. Put it back together and the issue disappeared. A few months later was having a misfire. Found a leaking injector. Replaced with a used one of the same index. A month after that another one got leaky. I replaced all 6 with used ones of a higher index. No more issues. (Can't afford new injectors right now.)

In the meantime, you can try checking your charge pipe to see if it has separated from the throttle body, or if it has cracked. Any leak there would cause that error.

Easy fix, just don't accelerate hard.

Make sure whatever code reader you use is set up to read BMW-specific codes.
Most likely issues are vacuum hoses, spark plugs, coils, injectors, or valves needing walnut blasting.

Hopefully you do your own maintenance. If not, run away. Fast.

30FF is just a generic "I went into safe mode" code, it doesn't really mean anything.

Before you go spending money, check all the vaccuum lines. Most importantly, make sure one hasn't popped off a wastegate. I had one fall off and it only underboosted during harder acceleration. During city driving, it did fine on a single turbo and an open hose.
I didn't even realize it because the wastegates are tucked away.

It's a simple fix if it's a vaccuum line. Start there. Marky mark covered the other common causes.

I've got the same problem. Just started at 118,000 miles. Now I usually get code 140011 (Misfiring: Injection cut) under hard acceleration, but not with easy acceleration. I changed the valve cover gasket and it was OK for the first few hundred miles. Plugs done 20K miles ago. No injectors yet.
