Diesel X5

I leased a BMW X5 Diesel yesterday.
Traded in an BMW i3.
Loved the i3, hard to take trips in it.

Any suggestions for the X5?

Such as coding the software?
Turning on the European Options?

What European options?

Rear foglights? You need hardware for that.
Lights with the little EU complaint E with circle? Pay off the inspector, or schmooze him, or ask him to show you where they are on your Dad's Citroen, or combo of two or three.
Aspheric side mirrors? more hardware, eBay best bet.
MPH to KPH? Setting in iDrive.
24 hour clock - Setting in iDrive.
MPG to l/100km - Setting in iDrive

Above is what had to be done to my 650 when I moved it to Europe last summer. It has since passed all inspections and bureaucratic red tape BS (the worst part of the whole thing), just paid the last fee, getting FR plates on it when I go back in May.

Turning off turnsignal lights that are on all the time
Allowing to close the trunk with the remote control / button on dashboard
Turning off welcome screen with some legal BS
