2010 528i Wiper Relay Location

Windshield wipers do not work and did not return to a parked position. I need help locating the Wiper Relay. I am unsure if it is located under the air filter. I have read several threads stating that it is but when I remove the air filter I do not see the dme (Ecu) box. There is a long panel that goes across the engine. Does this have to be removed??

It is located in the passenger side compartment with the DME. For instructions to get to it, refer to the Burger Tuning JB4 installation instructions. In short, yes, the panel needs to be removed.

Scepticism and Animal Faith (1923)
Scepticism is the chastity of the intellect, and it is shameful to surrender it too soon or to the first comer: there is nobility in preserving it coolly and proudly through long youth, until at last, in the ripeness of instinct and discretion, it can be safely exchanged for fidelity and happiness.
(The Works of George Santayana p. 65)
