2006 X5 Electrical problems

I bought my X5 used from a dealership...they replaced the windshield before I picked it up. I donít drive my X5 much, bought it mostly for a snow car.

I realized over a year after I got the car that they did not install the trim and molding on the top of the windshield...and it has been leaking water into the glove box.

There are numbers electrical problems I am trying to work through.

Right now my windshield wipers wont work, and the pumped doesnt engage to spray fluid. I checked the fuse and the relay...both seem good.

Another electrical issue is that the buttons on the lower console (trunk release etc) are not working or lighting up....where is the fuse?

And Iím troubleshooting intermittent starting...think it might be the battery

Fuse index locations are in the glovebox and behind the right rear cargo panel. But if you're looking for a fuse that powers interior lighting...there aren't any...the exterior and most of the interior lighting is controlled by the LCM III control module.

Front & Rear Fuse Locations from owners manual:

{glove box fuse index}

{rear fuse location & index}
