Driver side mirror

When I get in my car after taking the key out the driver side mirror folds out and towards the front. I then have to roll down my window and pull it back around to where it should be. If I leave the key in and get out to go into a store or something and get back in it stays where it is. If I park and hit the button to fold my mirrors inward they work just fine. But when I put the key in the driver side folds all the way forward and has to be pulled back around. HAs anyone else had this experience. If so was it an expensive fix?

Sounds like the mirror got bumped and is now out of calibration. It should be an easy DIY-fix:

I've read several complaints about this. Seems the problem is corrosion in the mirror connector. Get some CRC electrical contact cleaner Unplug the connector spray with cleaner then plug and unplug the connector several times.

If that doesn't work, you'll need a new module.
