Mein Auto:
Hi I bought a 520i 1999 a couple months back and it had accident damage(just cosmetic really, bumper and front drivers fender) on the drivers side front quarter. When I bought the car the ASC and ABS lights stayed on and the speedo would cut out (about 15-20 mins) after starting the car. This happens every time I start the car. I have read a few forums and they suggested it could be wheel speed sensors or the ABS module. Hopefully someone can give me some advice cause I wouldnt have a clue where to start. BMWGANG

Where to start? Get a code reader, it will tell you what the problem is. In the meantime you could try and swap the two rear wheel speed sensors, your speedo gets info from left rear, the cruise control from right rear.
