435i Convertible for ED

My dealer has still not come up with an allocation for my order placed 11/23/13. Has anyone actually gotten any of the following?
  • allocation
  • production date
  • ED delivery date

We have a deposit down and late April ED choices and flight reservations but seats are filling up if we need to make changes. Can anyone get me an allocation now? My build is saved on BMWUSA.

Ahhh, gotchya. If he doesn't respond, as sometimes his email is just overflowing, give him a call, he is extremely easy to work with, and will give you a no nonsense price, clear, concise, with no surprises.

Mein Auto: 435i vert ED July 2014
Placed my order on February 4th with John Weltzien at Braman BMW (Palm Beach, FL) and we received confirmation of our ED delivery date and time today for July 7th, as requested!

Given your location, do reach out to Adrian. He is a wonderful person to work with, very professional and an ED expert just as drstein mentioned. He assisted me on my ED in 2008 and has my highest recommendation as well

Depending on incentives, you can be below. However, if I remember correctly, per Bimmerfest rules, we are asked to use 1000.00 over.

I can tell you this, I was under 70k on my 640 that had US MSRP of 81125.00, and that was not figuring in the 9000.00 in "free" options with the M Sport Edition

Thats great Gary !!! No surprises though, Adrian is one of the very best !!! When you land in Munich, if I may, allow me to also recommend Rolf to pick you up. He will bring you wherever you need to go in Munich, sit with you, take the time to explain and show you the ins and outs of Munich. I feel as strongly about Rolf as I do Adrian. Congratulations again !!

Yes we like our X5 but are looking forward to this whole experience. Is Rolf an independent for hire?

Yes, Rolf is an independent. However, he has been a friend of 'festers for quite some time. He is retired but started working for BMW in 1968. I contacted Rolf after learning from him here right after I booked my flight a few months ago. He went beyond my expectations. He was here waiting patiently for me at the airport. We went and exchanged some USDs for Euros then sat in a cafe. Rolf had a train map and explained how to utilize the train system from my Hotel to the Welt. I went the day before, took in the Welt, went up to the VIP Lounge for coffee and a sandwich. The next day I again went to the Welt, had my delivery and seeing as how I was only staying a few days asked them to call Rolf. I had assumed because of my short stay and the likelihood of snow, I would pay to have my car flatbedded to the airport. Rolf kindly suggested, based on the unseasonably warm weather that I might instead enjoy driving my car to the drop off. As he lives within 5-10 min from the Welt he arrived and said lets go, I have all the free time in the world. We drove my car through the outskirts of Munich, using the small amt of fuel provided. I then brought him back to the Welt, he retrieved his car, we went for gas, and I followed him up to the drop off at the airport. I had arranged with Rolf to pick me up the next morn at 7am, as I was to leave that morning. He was outside waiting in his car at 6:45/a. My whole time with him, he would not let me handle my bag and the morning I left, he escorted me right to the ticket counter. I cannot praise him enough, the nicest man, his knowledge and love of Munich & BMW not something you will get from any shuttle or cab. I genuinely consider Rolf my friend in Munich and will hopefully be able to see him again in 3 years !! Reach him at [email protected] I'm 99% sure thats the correct email. If not, let me know

All I can say is when in doubt, use the Search at the top right of the page. Be it model info, rates, or a C/As history, its all there

We may indeed contact Rolf. We are taking a 7 day southern route through the Alps, into Italy and on to BMW's drop off point at Nice, France on the French Riviera. We are doing this because we have been to Nice before and if there is a finer city in the world we have not seen it.
