Driver Seat Replacement?
I was having an issue with the driver seat reclining and when I took it to be fixed it appears that the frame is cracked. The fix is going to cost approximately $1800.00. So I'm kicking around the idea of putting in an aftermarket seat. So far it looks like about $1300ish to get a new one. Does anyone know of any bolt in seats? Sparco said that they have seats but I would need a custom frame. Recaro says they have a fit but it looks like it would be $1300 to put that in. Should I go aftermarket or have it fixed? The seat and interior are the hurricane stich with swede bolsters.

Driver's seat
I had a 1991 M5. As far as I'm concerned those seats were some of the best ever put in in a BMW sports model. lots of side support, leg and hip room and comfortable bottom. Very adjustable. fix it.
