The M division is allegedly bringing another new model to the show floor in Geneva. Based on the 8 series platform, sources suggest it take the shape of an M8 convertible concept.

The rumor comes from BMWBlog, where a source dropped the rumor, claiming that the car we saw would be neither a supercar nor an M8 Gran Coupe.

The source claimed that the car would be like an M8 Coupe, but “different in style.”
With the M8 concept having already gotten quite a lot of time in the limelight, BMWBlog suggests that the car will be an M8 Convertible.

BMW has confirmed that the M8 Coupe is coming this year and will feature the S63 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8. That engine will funnel its nearly 600 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque to the either the rear wheels or all four wheels through an 8-speed auto.

The Geneva Motor Show’s press days start early next month, so whatever the M division shows, we don’t have to wait much longer to find out.
