The BMW Group managed to deliver more than 600,000 vehicles in the first three months of 2018. Not only does that mark a sales record, itís the first time the group has ever sold more than 600,000 in that period of time.

That total was helped mightily by the Groupís best ever March, in terms of sales. Moving more than 250,000 in that month alone, BMW was firing on all cylinders last month.

BMW and MINIís sales were up in the brandsí major markets. Up more than 7% in China, 3% in the USA, 1% in Europe, and 11.5% in South America for the year to date, BMWs and MINIs are finding fans around the globe.

The brand also notes with pride that sales of its electrified vehicles are up nearly 40%. Totaling more than 26,858, BMW claims itís the top provider of premium electrified mobility.

Even Rolls-Royceís sales rose in the first quarter, jumping up 10% over last yearís figure. And the brand is only expecting sales to increase further thanks to the fast approaching Cullinan SUV.

ďThe record sales achieved in the first quarter of this year are just the start of what Iím sure will be another successful year, with the main impact of our current model push coming later in the year,Ē said Pieter Nota, head of sales at the BMW brand.
