End Navigation?

Why is there no end navigation option? It seems it should be next to start navigation. Also in my 2003 540 nav you could enter an intersection. That option seems to be gone. Weird.

Left "click" iDrive controller in Nav screen, scroll to top-most icon, click, select "Stop Navigation". Alternately, press Voice command button, wait for prompt, and state "Stop Guidance". The owners manual is your friend :).

I've done that. It stops the nav but it's still shows in the dash display. So it still feels like it's working. I will try voice command. Thanks.

I also have this problem. I can 'stop/cancel/end guidance/navigation' using either the iDrive or Voice commands like normal like everyone else, UNLESS I have actually arrived at the destination and the large dot has appeared on the dash. Using iDrive buttons the checkmark disappears then reappears on its own, and using voice commands, the Voice tells me that guidance is off but it is still on the dash and won't turn off. I have often told the 'Voice' that she is incorrect in my nicest tone.
My work around has been to select a stored destination (like my home), 'start guidance' and then 'Stop guidance' using the Voice. Then everything on the dash shuts off.
Of course, I could just shut the car off but then the 'voice' would win.

If you click on the "Race Flag" there should be a Stop (or end, I forget) Navigation selection. Might have to scroll down (lower left quadrant) to see it, just depends.

The Intersection field is still there, it's just placed a little further down the list where you have State, City, etc. so I wasn't used to looking for it there. (it threw me the first few times too)
